Jim’s Story
This is a story of Jim Feicht. He shares his deep love for prayer and his relationship with God. He speaks about how prayer is not just a request, but an invitation into God's grace and a way to connect with Him, especially in times of suffering. Jim reflects on how, even in his darkest moments, he finds comfort knowing that God understands and is always present with him.
Lisa’s Story
This is a story of Lisa Ruiz. She shares her journey of finding a welcoming and supportive church family at Voyagers. Lisa initially has fear and insecurity walking into church alone with her children. However, she reflects on how Voyagers became their family, offering love, support, prayer, and a sense of belonging that has been life-changing for her and her kids.
Jeanne’s Story
This is a story of Jeanne deNoon. She recalls a pivotal moment from her childhood when she first realized she could talk to God freely. She describes the comfort this brings her, as she speaks to God throughout her day. Jeanne continues by sharing how this has deepened her relationship with God and her sense of belonging in His family.
John’s Story
This is a story of John Shin. He shares his powerful journey from a troubled childhood, including the loss of his father and involvement in a gang, to discovering God's love and transforming his life. He reflects on the moment when he gave his life to Jesus. Now a pastor, John emphasizes God's unconditional love and the importance of coming to Him as we are.
Shelly’s Story
This is a story of Shelly Stewart. She shares how God met her during a dark period of practicing witchcraft and struggling with fear. After listening to a worship song, she felt a flood of peace and invited Jesus into her heart as her Savior. Shelly reflects on the joy and peace she felt after her baptism, realizing she no longer had to face life alone.
