GLORIFYING GOD BY LOVING JESUS, ONE ANOTHER AND THE WORLD

Loving Jesus

Worship God Wholeheartedly

Worship should permeate all of life. Our desire is to be people who are loving God with everything we’ve got. Like enthusiastic fans at a ball game, we want to “shout with joy to the Lord,” exalting God for who He is and what He has done. We want to live for God’s glory. (Psalm 100; Matthew 22:37-40)

Learn and Obey God’s Word

The Bible is completely true and teaches us about God, ourselves, and the best direction for our lives. We believe it is alive, active, and able to change us from the inside out. (John 14:21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Be Devoted in Prayer

Talking with God is our lifeline! We believe that prayer is the practical expression of dependence on God. It is the means by which we genuinely trust in the power and sovereignty of Christ rather than our own abilities. (Colossians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

Loving One Another

Connect in Small Groups

One of the best environments for life change is a small group of believers where there is prayer, God’s word, love, encouragement, laughter, tears, and fun. A place where everyone knows your name. Voyagers Bible Church is not a building or a meeting, it is a community, and small groups help us to become that. (Acts 2:44-47; Mark 3:13-14)

Serve Through Giftedness

We are convinced that every believer is gifted by God to serve Jesus and to faithfully use these gifts for service in the church. We serve at the pleasure of our God and King. What a privilege. (Romans 12:1-8; 1 Peter 4:10-11)

Loving the World

Share the Gospel

God’s grace changes lives, and He wants to use us here in Orange County and around the world. Our goal is for all Voyagers to be equipped to share their faith in Jesus Christ and to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading in sharing this good news. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)

Show Compassion

We are committed to helping the poor and needy, comforting the sick and brokenhearted, and expressing the love of Christ in practical ways in our community and around the world. (Matthew 25:40; James 1:27)
