the lord’s prayer
SERMON SERIES
Week 1
“Hallowed Be Thy Name”
Pastor Davis begins with a new sermon series through the Lord’s Prayer by exploring what it means to pray, “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.” Through Jesus, we can approach our holy God as Father, responding to His holiness with reverence, gratitude, and worship.
Week 2
“His Kingdom, Not Mine”
In this sermon, Pastor John explores Jesus’ call to pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done,” shifting our focus from our desires to God’s purposes. As we surrender our will to Him, our prayers become centered on seeing His kingdom at work in our lives and the world.
Week 3
“Give Us Our Daily Bread”
“Give us today our daily bread” is a call to humble, daily dependence on God, trusting Him as a loving Father to provide everything we need. Jesus reminds us to live one day at a time, recognizing that every good gift comes from the God who has provided, is providing, and will provide.
Week 4
“The Freedom of Forgiveness”
In this sermon, Pastor Don Ballard reminds us that God’s forgiveness frees us from the weight of sin and allows us to live fully in His abundant grace. Because we have been freely forgiven in Christ, we are called to extend that same grace and forgiveness to others.
Week 5
“Trials, Tests, & Temptations”
Jesus asks us to rely on God when our faith is tested, trusting Him to strengthen us against temptation and deliver us from the plans of the evil one. Though trials will come, God uses these moments to grow our faith, calling us to depend on His strength as we persevere.
